Page 1 of a Side Comic I'm doing with .  This is, however, a preparatory page.  I haven't decided if I'll keep it.  The linework's finished and I'm comfortable with that regardless.  What I am figuring out is my coloring method.  I can still work and practice on refinement, so that's not the concern.  What I am trying to decide is if I should stick to straight pencil work with shading and digital blending to make the look more uniform after using a blender to mix the colors... or if I should use a digital fill with what I generously refer to as shading and light elements.

I will be honest and say I'm undecided here, and I'd like the opinions of those I usually have viewing my material, particularly the DU crowd.

Suffice it to say that I will still be doing full out colored pencil work at points.  I enjoy it too much, but I'll be honest and say that I feel that especially in the last couple of months I've been getting sloppy, and part has been because of how I color.  It's led to sloppiness in other sections, so I haven't decided yet if I should go this route with a pallet of colors available, with fill and cleanup and save full pencils for more detailed pieces, or stick to what I've done before.
