Next on our list, one of the resident occult and scientific researchers of the Deviant Universe alongside Professor Goyle, School Girl.  A long favorite of mine, her story has a tendency to feel different in tone from many of the heroes of the DU, reminiscent of Doctor Who, Johnny  Quest and more 'pulp' styles of comic, with the heroine focused on investigation rather than direct confrontation.  It's a nice twist on the themes that enables some different approaches.

One of Samantha's long-standing friends in the DU, it's amusing to note that the two have a certain amount, in that both are considered "Half Succubi," though of decidedly different varieties.  They also approach the issue with considerably different approaches (It took years for even Sam to know that her teammate was half succubus.)
