If it were not obvious before, Page 6 should clear up just from Cross' costuming that this is a flashback to Maximum Destruction, our first DU event.  Cross and his brother, the future Saint, were in communication ( Maximum Destruction: Page 1) while Cross took out several Droids, before being captured by the foot soldiers of Psi-Void himself.  This is a brief moment in all of the fighting where he seems to be rescuing someone from one of the robotic bastards, but who and why is it important?  Time will tell.

Sam's Hacking Skills - Eh... she's probably got a code-breaker from Goyle or one of the other tech-heads.  She's had enough time with the force to pick up more and more skills, but she's more of a specialist at physical security, not cyber security.  Either way, while these strange new people observe her from secrecy, she does what she's been sent to do, snoop and get whatever intel she can.
